EXCLUSIVE: Award-winning actor John Krasinski has come on board as narrator of Cities of the Future, the latest documentary from MacGillivray Freeman Films created for IMAX and giant-screen theaters.

The film, produced in association with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), “invites audiences to explore the innovations engineers are designing now to meet the pressing challenges of a changing world, and forge a brighter, more sustainable future,” according to a release.

Cities of the Future – shot in 3D and 70mm – will premiere on February 16 at select museums and science centers. We have your first look at the documentary, and Krasinski’s work on it, in the trailer above.
