Celebrating the Importance of Healthy Oceans in Honor of World Oceans Day

There is a lot going on in the world today, and so many of us are feeling big emotions as our world encounters unprecedented challenges.

Today is also World Oceans Day, and we at MacGillivray Freeman Films are pausing for a moment to acknowledge the importance of healthy oceans as we re-imagine a better world. At MFF, our love for the sea goes back more than 50 years to when company founder Greg MacGillivray got his start making surfing documentaries. An ardent conservationist, he made it our company’s mission to educate and inspire people about the importance of the world’s oceans to the planet’s well-being.
